Yemen Initiative Fails
(IsraelNN.com) The Yemen initiative to reconcile rival terror gangs Fatah and Hamas has failed, Palestinian Authority officials announced Thursday. Fatah officials are returning to Judea and Samaria, they said.
Members of the Fatah-led PA blamed Hamas for the failure, saying Hamas had refused to accept the initiative in its original form, and had insisted on making dramatic changes. The initiative would have required Hamas to give up control of Gaza, which the group refused to do.
