IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi hosted his German counterpart, General Wolfgang Schneiderhan, who is on his fourth visit to Israel since last year. They held strategic and security briefings.
The visiting German general also toured the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum and an air force base. Lt. Gen. Ashkenazi recently has hosted chiefs of staff from the Netherlands and Hungary.
