Bank HaPoalim announced it will open "boutique" branches aimed at attracting high-income consumers. It plans to open 30 new branches by the end of next year, beginning this August, according to Globes.
The new strategy is aimed at preventing the loss of non-business customers to middle-sized banks. Each branch will operate with a target of only 3,000 customers, but half of the small staff of 4-6 workers will be investment advisors.
