The stabbing victim in Tuesday's attack by the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem's Old City was Rabbi Yechezkel (son of Zahava) Greenwald, a 49-year-old teacher at the Muslim Quarter's Ateret Kohanim Yeshiva.
Arutz Sheva refrained from publishing the name of the Beit El resident until the rabbi's family had been informed.
The rabbi is in light-to-moderate condition at Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem.
