UPDATE: Rabbi in Light Condition
(IsraelNN.com) According to the HNN newsflash site, the Ateret Kohanim Yeshiva rabbi stabbed near the Damascus Gate has been upgraded to "lightly injured" at Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital.
The unconfirmed report says that the rabbi suffered lacerations on his neck, but that the terrorist failed to sever any blood vessels and the rabbi's life is not in danger.
The attempted murder was disrupted by a student or security guard who fought off the attacker.
