According to Army Radio, the stabbing victim at the Old City's Damascus Gate was a Hareidi-religious Jew in his 50s on his way to or from the Western Wall.
The Damascus Gate is the most direct way to walk to the Western Wall from Jerusalem's Hareidi-religious neighborhoods.
The man was stabbed in his neck by an attacker. No reports on whether the attacker was apprehended have been made public at this time.
