Once-Secular Air Force Draws 65 Hareidi Religious

(IsraelNN.com) An Air Force survey has revealed that 65 Hareidi religious men now serve in the Air Force, once considered to be staffed by secular Jews. Twenty-five men were drafted into the Air Force this week, almost all of them in occupational fields.

"We aim to double the number of Hareidi religious this year and are considering accepting religious girls," said the Air Force manpower chief.
