A Palestinian Authority Arab jumped off a bus and raced away toward Israel Thursday afternoon during a humanitarian transfer of sick Gaza residents into Egypt for medical care.

Security forces are searching for the man, who escaped as 17 patients were being transferred from Gaza, at the Erez Crossing, through pre-1967 Israel to the Egyptian border.
