(IsraelNN.com) The military court at Ofer, in northern Jerusalem, sentenced four terrorists from the Hevron area to life imprisonment Tuesday evening. The four killed six Jews in a series of attacks.
The terror squad was created by Baher Shakib Awiwi, a clothes vendor, along with Moussa Ibrahim Wazuz, who was employed at an office supplies store, and Kassem Farid Jaber. A fourth member, Muhammad Julani, was recruited later. They purchased a Kalachnikov assault rifle and two Karl Gustav guns and trained on their own.
On June 24, 2005, the terrorists murdered Aviad Mantzour and Avichai Levy at a bus stop near Beit Haggai, not far from Hevron.
On July 22, 2005, they fired at an IDF force in Hevron, causing moderate and light injuries to two soldiers and killing an Arab passerby.
On October 16, 2005, they murdered Matat Rosenfeld Adler and Kinneret Mandel of Carmel, as well as Oz Meir of Maon.
On December 16, 2005, they murdered Yigal Shok of Beit Haggai.
They were arrested by the IDF's elite Duvdevan unit on January 21, 2006.
