Arab MK Ahmed Tibi, the Knesset's Deputy Speaker, protested Public Security Minister Avi Dichter's decision to demolish a mass-murdering terrorist's home Wednesday.
Tibi claimed the move constituted collective punishment which does not conform to the law, and hurts the innocent. Earlier in the day, Dichter instructed the police to tear down the home of the terrorist from eastern Jerusalem who murdered eight yeshiva boys at point blank range Thursday.
Tibi, who hails from Taibeh, in central Israel, has a large poster of Yasser Arafat in his Knesset office and used to be an advisor to the terror leader. He is a favorite interviewee in Israeli media.
