A Kuwaiti newspaper published an editorial Tuesday slamming the terrorist attack last week on the Merkaz HaRav Kook Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
The op-ed author in the daily Al-Watan newspaper called the massacre "a barbaric murder of eight children who were engaged in religious study." The article continued with its unprecedented criticism of the murderer and those who sent him, saying "This odious and inhuman terror attack exemplifies the extremist and inhuman path of the terror organizations Hamas and Hizbullah."
A day after the attack, Hamas claimed responsibility for the slaughter but within hours retracted its statement, reportedly at the orders of its Damascus-based politburo chief, arch-terrorist Khaled Mashaal.
