Opposition MKs Call for Quality Assurance Session

(IsraelNN.com) Some 40 opposition Knesset Members have signed a petition calling for a special session to be devoted to reviewing the government's performance.

Likud faction chairman Gideon Sa'ar submitted the petition, saying the government "has no path and no strategy, and is only serving to maintain its own survival." The petition, which calls for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to attend the session, was given to Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik on Tuesday.
