The Knesset Law Committee discussed the first reading of the Basic Law: Jerusalem the Capital Tuesday morning.

MK Moshe Sharoni (Pensioners) told Arutz-7 that the time has come to stop discussing Jerusalem. “It is a mistake that we always repeat ourselves that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel,” he said. “There is on thing that is clear: the nation that is victorious writes the terms. So why when Israel was victorious are others making the terms? This cannot and should not be.”

Sharoni continued: “There was no Palestinian nation until we invented it and the State of Israel must remember that there is only one Jewish state in the world and that is the State of Israel.”
