(IsraelNN.com) Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik visited the Merkaz HaRav yeshiva in Jerusalem on Monday and met with yeshiva head Rabbi Yaakov Shapira.  Eight of the yeshiva’s students were murdered by a terrorist from the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem on Thursday of last week.

During the meeting Rabbi Shapira called to destroy a mourning tent set up in Jabal Mukaber in honor of the terrorist.  “That’s not a moral question at all,” Itzik replied.  “We need to destroy the tent, we need to destroy the house.”

The Almagor group for victims of terrorism has pushed to destroy the terrorist’s house as well.  The group sent a letter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann, and Public Security Minister Avi Dichter on Monday outlining the legal justification for demolishing the building.
