      Egypt Opposition Hails Yeshiva Massacre

Egyptian opposition leaders attending a conference Friday expressed support for the massacre of yeshiva students in Jerusalem a few hours earlier. The group of opposition leaders, which included parliamentarians, called upon the Arab regimes to supply cash and weapons to the "Palestinian resistance."

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs reported that leader of opposition movement "Kafaya" ("Enough"), Abd el-Wahab Al-Masiri, called the massacre "a message of fire" to "the occupation". The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Mahdi Akaf, said the "Palestinian resistance" was helping to rid the region of the danger of the "American Zionist plan."

In their concluding statement, the opposition groups demanded that Egypt open the Rafiah crossing and supply Gaza with electricity and gas.
