Police have released eight activists who were arrested on Saturday night in Givat HaOr, near the city of Beit El.  Three were released on Saturday night, and the remaining five were released on Sunday.  The eight signed forms promising to stay away from Givat HaOr for the next 15 days.

Activists have been expelled from Givat HaOr dozens of times, but have returned each time and say they still plan to turn the small outpost into an established Jewish community.  The community is being built in response to the government’s plans to give Judea and Samaria to the Palestinian Authority, activists say.
