Arabs Desecrate Moment of Silence for Terror Victims (IsraelNN.com) At a soccer game Saturday night, Arab fans of the Bnei Sakhnin soccer team desecrated a moment of silence commemorating the deaths of the eight Yeshiva students murdered in the terror attack on Mercaz Harav Yeshiva Thursday night. The moment of silence was called before the game with Macabee Netanya, but Arabs screamed and yelled during the commemoration, and made loud noises.
A similar incident occurred Friday afternoon during a game between a Nazareth soccer team and the Hapoel Petach Tikvah team. There, too, Arab fans of the Nazareth team made loud noises, laughed and yelled during a moment of silence called before that game as well. The Israel Soccer Federation had announced Friday that all games this weekend would be preceded by such commemorations for the victims of the terror attack. ![]() © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
