(IsraelNN.com) The police and the General Security Service have arrested eight suspects in the murderous terror attack on Mercaz Harav Yeshiva Thursday night, police said. Details of the names of suspects and details of their interrogation have not been released, but on Friday, police said that several members of the terrorist's family were arrested.

A police spokesperson said that interrogators are attempting to find out how the terrorist, Alla Abu-Dehin, was able to get the weapon used in the attack, and who assisted him in getting it. Police said that although Abu-Dehin's name had been “known” to police, he had never been arrested. A police spokesperson told Channel Two news that Abu-Dehin was “a regular person who worked as a van driver. He was engaged and was soon to be married.” The spokesperson added that it appeared that Abu-Dehin had planned the attack for months.
