Ashkelon Mayor Roni Mahatzri met with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at his Tel Aviv office on Thursday.
The two discussed Mahatzri's request for an aid package for the city due to the recent rocket barrage from Arabs terrorists in Gaza. Ashkelon is Israel's 13th largest city with a population of close to 110,000 people.
