The Hamas entity in Gaza fired ten rockets at Israel Wednesday afternoon. A salvo of six rockets was fired at 4:20 P.M., and more rockets were fired at 6:20 and 7:15. No one was hurt and no damage was caused.
Most of the rockets exploded in unpopulated areas near Sderot and south of Ashkelon. Two exploded further south, within the Sdot Negev regional council area. One landed short within Gaza territory.
Ynet reported that the alarm siren was tripped in Ashkelon by mistake, causing confusion as thousands of people called the emergency hotline for instructions.
