The Defense Ministry has ordered that water supplies be restored to the hilltop community of Eish Kadosh, where Civil Lands Administration authorities began destroying a water tower Wednesday morning. The community is recognized by the government, but the water tower is located in an area that the government considers outside of permitted borders, Voice of Israel government radio reported.

The move by the Civil Lands Administration came at the same time that the government and the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza (Yesha) have reached an agreement to allow the relocation of approximately 25 communities that are not authorized under an agreement with the United States.
