Arab terrorists fired a rocket towards Ashkelon in the past hour and another missile south of the port city. Both rockets missed their targets and landed in open areas, causing no injuries or damage. An air raid siren was sounded throughout Ashkelon, the first time the new system has been used to warn residents of incoming rockets.

The Color Red warning system sounded in Sderot several minutes ago, but there has not yet been a report of a rocket explosion in the area.
