MK Eliyahu Gabbai (NU-NRP) blasted authors Sami Michael and Amos Oz from the Knesset floor Tuesday, saying the pair represents a new trend for Israeli authors who lobby for international prestige by criticizing IDF actions.

Singling out Michael, Gabbai said, "How about a little concern for the human rights of residents in Sderot and Ashkelon, for the students at Sapir College, rather than limiting your concern to Gaza residents who provide human shields and hideouts for Hamas murderers."
