Israeli hospitals have accepted several Gaza Arab patients who were wounded in recent fighting between the IDF and terrorists from Hamas and other groups. Dozens have been wounded in the fighting, and Gaza doctors report that local hospitals are overcrowded.
Egypt allowed between 150 and 200 wounded Gaza Arabs to enter Egypt for treatment on Sunday, opening the southern border for the first time since Hamas broke through by force in late January. The International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) and other groups are providing aid to hospitals in Gaza as well, and so far at least three trucks of medical supplies have entered Gaza via the Sufa crossing since fighting began.
