Palestinian Authority Arabs set tires ablaze in the streets and hurled rocks and a firebomb at IDF soldiers and Israeli vehicles traveling near the PA-controlled city of Bethlehem. The protest spiraled into a riot as Arabs demonstrated against the continued IDF military operations in Gaza.

One IDF soldier was lightly wounded by rocks hurled at the troops during the riot.
