Israel Air Force fighter jets attacked seven targets in overnight air strikes in Gaza late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Palestinian Authority sources said five people were killed in a strike on the Hamas terrorist police station and a mosque in the border town of Rafiah. Other targets included three weapons factories and three arms storage facilities, according to local sources, as well as an unidentified target in the Sudaniyeh neighborhood in Gaza City.
The IDF confirmed a strike that destroyed the office of Hamas chief and former PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and a weapons factory. A PA official called the strikes in Rafiah "the height of moral bankruptcy" and said that "Israel has crossed the line."
