According to Hamas, a baby girl named Malak Karfaneh was killed on Saturday in an IDF strike on Beit Hanoun.  Local Arabs quoted in Maariv and other media sources disagreed with Hamas’s version of events, and said Karfaneh was killed when a Hamas rocket fell short and landed near her house. 

Gaza terrorists fired at least 47 rockets at Israeli towns on Friday night and Saturday morning.  Terrorists frequently launch rockets at Israeli cities from the area in which the child was killed.
