Likud Knesset faction chairman Gideon Saar said Thursday that the Grad missile attack on Ashkelon "is a direct result of the Disengagement plan."

MK Saar explained: "in contrast with the promises of a better future, the Disengagement plan quickly brought about a dramatic increase in the number, range and caliber of the rocket attacks."

"It is quite clear," he said, "that continuing the policy of retreats will bring the rockets to every place in Israel, according to the formula of 'territory for rockets.'"
