Former President Abdul Kalam addressed an aerospace science conference and is to meet President Shimon Peres Thursday, capping a two-day visit to Israel. He spoke to students and faculty at the Technology Convergence and National Development at Tel Aviv University.

He said that the recent Israeli TecSAR satellite launched in India is producing "very good results." Kalam is considered one of the world's most renowned rocket scientists.
