Broad Knesset Support for Bill against Internet Porn

(IsraelNN.com) The Knesset voted 46-20 in favor of the first reading of a bill that would require Internet providers to prevent users from accessing pornography and other material deemed dangerous to children. The bill was sponsored by Minister of Communications Ariel Atias (Shas).

The proposed legislation would allow an adult user to remove the Internet restrictions after providing proof that the user is an adult.
