Update from Gaza: Six Terrorists Killed in Air Strike

Israeli Air Force strikes Wednesday morning killed six terrorists, according to Arab sources. Islamic Jihad leaders said one of their armed terrorists died in one of the missile strikes. Army spokesmen said they are checking the report and have neither confirmed or denied it.

The alleged aerial counter terrorist operation targeted the area of Khan Yunis, next to the ruins of the former Gush Katif Jewish communities, which the government destroyed in the summer of 2006. The government proceeded to turn over the area to the Palestinian Authority (PA). Exactly a year ago, reports from Gaza stated that terrorists had taken over synagogues that remained standing in the communities.
