Members of a Russian neo-Nazi group were charged with vandalizing Jewish and Muslim cemeteries Monday, according to the Jewish.ru web site.
The 19 men were charged in the town of Tver, 140 miles from Moscow. On Aug. 5, 2005, just before the Disengagement, the suspects desecrated about 50 Jewish gravestones at the Dmitrovo-Cherkassy cemetery.
Members of the Russian National Unity group were also charged with murder motivated by ethnic hatred and assault, though no information on those charges has been published.
