(IsraelNN.com) Yisrael Beitenu Party Chairman and Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman accused Arab Knesset Member Jamal Zahalka (Balad Party) of helping terrorists Sunday during a discussion in the Knesset Education Committee meeting.

The argument broke out over discussions about national service by Arab youth and incitement against those who choose to serve, and their families.  Zahalka protested a government plan to draft Arab youth to the national service four months ago, saying Arab society would have nothing to do with such families. 

Lieberman accused Zahalka and other Arab party members of being “a fifth column” and said he is “launching a crusade against those cooperating with Hizbullah and Hamas.” The former Strategic Affairs Minister said flatly, “You are betraying the State of Israel.”
