(IsraelNN.com) Hundreds of Jews entered the Joseph's Tomb compound in Shechem Friday. Their entry was coordinated with the army, which provided security.

The pilgrimage was held in honor of "Purim Katan," which occurs on the 14th and 15th days of Adar Aleph (Wednesday and Thursday this week).

On these days there is some festiveness, Tachanun prayer is not said and no eulogies are read.
