The assassination of Hizbullah mastermind terrorist Imad Mughinyeh and Israel's targeting Hamas terrorists are "an alibi for terror," Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema told the Italian weekly newspaper L'Espresso.
"By my definition, the car bomb in the middle of Damascus was terror," he explained. Mughinyeh was killed in a Damascus parking lot, where his car was blown up. Israel has been widely held responsible for the assassination but has denied involvement.
