Keter Plastic company is planning to open up a pilot plant in the Galilee city of Yokne'am that will allow the public to bring in old plastic items for recycling in exchange for coupons to be used to buy Keter products.
The coupons will be worth one shekel (27.5 cents) for every kilogram (2.2 pounds) of plastic. Most of the company's products are made with polypropylene, which can be melted and re-used.
