A Bedouin man who stole from a cigarette stand was killed on Thursday night while fleeing from police.  The man and two of his friends stole hundreds of thousands of shekels in cash and then fled the scene in three separate vehicles.

Police quickly began pursuing the three.  One of the robbers was riding a motorcycle, and managed to escape into an IDF firing range.  However, police quickly surrounded the location, and the thief crashed into a police van and died while attempting to continue on his way.

The other two thieves were caught and arrested.
