Anti-Semites sent a threatening letter to the Israeli coach of a British soccer team and included a mysterious powder, that turned out to be harmless. British police are investigating the threat against Avram Grant and his wife.
Grant was in Greece for his team's upcoming game when a package arrived at the Chelsea team's training grounds near London. An accompaning note falsely stated that the powder in the package was lethal. The letter stated, "You are a bastard of Jew who stabs in the back. When you will open this letter, you will die of a very slow and painful death." A threat with a sexual reference was made against his wife Tzofit, who hosts an Israeli television show.
