Israel has turned over to the Palestinian Authority (PA) the bodies of the two Hevron suicide bombers who attacked Dimona three weeks ago, according to the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency. The Olmert administration did not issue a statement on returning the bodies, an action that night have been used to help IDF free soldier Gilad Shalit, who was kidnapped by PA terrorists 20 months ago.

The suicide bombers initially were said to have infiltrated into Israel from Egypt after having crossed the breached Rafiah border from Gaza, but later information indicated that they arrived in Dimona by way of the three-sided separation barrier in the southern Hevron Hills. The fence is open on the eastern flank, leaving terrorists and illegal Arab workers free to circumvent checkpoints and travel to all of Israel by way of the Judean desert to Arad.
