      Kuwaiti Lawyers Sue Hizbullah Supporters

Four lawyers from Kuwait have sued two of the country's Shiite parliament members, a former minister and another former legislator for holding a rally to mourn Hizbullah mastermind terrorist Imad Mughinyeh, who was assassinated last week in Damascus. He is accused of hijacking a Kuwaiti plane.

The suit charges them with being founders and members of the Kuwaiti branch of Hizbullah and of "undermining national unity and declaring loyalty to Lebanon's Hizbullah," violations of Kuwaiti law. Hundreds of Shiite supporters attended the mourning rally, and one of the legislators denied that Mughinyeh was involved in the 1988 hijacking of a Kuwaiti plane and the murder of two citizens.
