The Shaarei Tfiloh synagogue of Baltimore, Maryland has erected a large sign on the front of the building that asks for people to "pray for the children of Ashkelon and Sderot Israel who are bombarded daily by terrorists."

Synagogue Rabbi David Herman said that the local newspaper has not responded to his request for coverage and that the local Jewish newspaper printed only a one-paragraph brief, about the effort.
