School in Jerusalem will begin 9 a.m. Tuesday, subject to change, because of light snow that began falling during the night. Hebrew University classes will begin at noon. The snow has been occasional and has resumed in the past few minutes, leaving the possibility that the beginning of classes may be delayed further.
Schools will be closed in the northern Golan Heights, where many roads are closed due to heavy snow, and in Kiryat Arba and Gush Etzion. Tzfat schools will remain open.
