Show has begun to fall on the Hermon and heavy rains, accompanied by thunder and lightning, have struck Haifa. Heavy rain is falling in the Upper Galilee, and light rain is falling as far south as Rehovot and Jerusalem. The Hermon ski site has been temporarily closed because of the heavy snow.

Flights in and out of Rosh Pina airport, south of Kiryat Shmona, have been called for Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Flights at Ben Gurion airport are operating as usual.
