(IsraelNN.com) Senior financial analysts quoted by Army Radio said Saturday that Bank of Israel head Professor Stanley Fischer is likely to cut interest rates at the end of the month.  They explained that the prices of several products on the Israeli market had stopped rising, making a cut in interest more likely.

Cutting interest and therefore slowing inflation would allow Fischer to meet the demands of manufacturers and exporters, who have complained over the falling rate of the United States dollar, they said.  If Fischer were to cut interest rates, the dollar would increase in value opposite the shekel.
