According to the Lebanese daily A-Saphir, Hizbullah is on high alert following the assassination last week of arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh. The group has evacuated several of its buildings in Lebanon, the paper said.
In addition, approximately 50,000 Hizbullah fighters were reportedly sent to positions near the Israeli border. The group is forbidden from maintaining a presence in southern Lebanon, and United Nations and Lebanese troops in the area have been charged with keeping Hizbullah away.
