A source "close to Hizbullah" said Thursday that Hizbullah sees senior Hamas men as being responsible for the security breach which helped kill arch-killer Imad Mughniyeh. The Lebanese group also suspects CIA involvement.
"Hizbullah blames senior Hamas officials located in Damascus for the serious security breach which helped eliminate Hizbullah Operations Officer Imad Mughniyeh," the Lebanese source told a Jordanian news website that was quoted in Walla news.
The source said that Mughniyeh was killed after he visited one of Hamas' command posts in Damascus. He said the assassination is connected with the presence in Damascus of a CIA official who is in charge of "black ops" – or covert operations.
