FBI Fears Revenge, Tells Police To Guard Synagogues

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), fearing attempts by terrorists to revenge the assassination of Hizbullah terrorist Imad Mughinyeh, has ordered police to guard synagogues and Jewish centers during the Sabbath. New York police have beefed up armed patrols and are searching suspicious vehicles. Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah, in a recorded eulogy for Mughinyeh, blamed Israel for the assassination and threatened to strike back at Jews throughout the world.



Israel also has alerted its embassies to go on alert and has advised travelers of Nasrallah's threat. IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi placed forces on the northern border and in Judea and Samaria on alert.
