The Prime Minister's Office released an official statement Wednesday denying involvement in the blast that killed Hizbullah arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh.

"Israel rejects the attempt by terror elements to ascribe to it any kind of involvement in the event," the statement read.

"Israel is verifying the reports and studying their initial details, as they have been reported by the media in recent hours," the PMO said.
