National Secretary of Peace Now Yariv Oppenheimer came out in support of former Prime Minister Ehud Barak’s candidacy for the Labor Party chairmanship. Barak, along with Knesset Members Ami Ayalon and Ofer Pines, is considered a front-runner to replace Amir Peretz as Labor’s top man. Each has a list of notable supporters amongst Labor leaders.
