Israel Aircraft Firm Wants To Buy U.S. Companies

Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) "plans to acquire more companies, especially in the United States because of the size of the market," IAI chief executive Yitzchak Nissan told Flightgobal.com. The growing aerospace company already has launched a start-up in Mississippi, where its Stark Aerospace works on unmanned air vehicles. He added that an unnamed company in Britain also is on its acquisition list.

IAI also builds Gulfstream's small business jets. "In most of our areas, we are sole source or one of two or three in the world," Nissan said, who has turned IAI into a profitable company.
